Come Paint with Me
Description
Liz Monk invites you to drop in at St Jerome's, Llangwm's iconic medieval church, for an hour (or four) of plein air painting on Saturday August 12, anytime between noon
and 4:00pm.
The session will be aimed at participants with little or no previous painting
experience, and a selection of watercolour materials will be available
for you to have a go at capturing the atmosphere of the church and the grounds.
Liz will offer helpful supervision and guidance in the use of
watercolours and composition. The style will be wet and loose! More
experienced artists are of course also welcome to bring along their
equipment and join in. There will be a prize for the 'best' painting
but really it will be about enjoying yourself in the great
Pembrokeshire outdoors, and maybe discovering a new talent.
No need to book. A fee of £3 collected on location will cover all required materials. Well behaved children, under the supervision of a responsible adult, are welcome to try their hand at plein air painting. We recommend wet weather clothes and a brolly for your artwork, in case of rain.
