Finding Nora by Nuala O'Connor
A love story of Nora Barnacle and James Joyce
Description
Nora Barnacle, a 20 year old Galway woman, met James Joyce in Dublin in June 1904 and soon after left Ireland forever with him, to live a peripatetic life in Europe. Nora was rock and muse to the writer, and Nuala's acclaimed novel NORA gives voice to Nora's side of the Joyce odyssey of love, literature, and many heartaches. In this session, Nuala will talk about her research into, and writing of, NORA.
