Description
Llangwm is delighted to welcome for the first time the band, which is the offspring of an artistic love-affair between award-winning folk songwriters, Beth Porter and Ben Please, and Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights. The songs are the musical outpouring of the band's own response to books they have read, curated by the bookshop.
The Bookshop Band will be sharing their new album, Emerge, Return, produced by Pete Townshend, and exploring books such as:
• The Testaments, by Margaret Atwood
• Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley
• and The Book Of Dust, by Philip Pullman.
