About
David Hodges is a monk at the Cistercian Abbey on Caldey Island, off the south coast of Wales. Before entering the Abbey, he practised as a Solicitor in Basingstoke, Hampshire, having read Law and Economics at Trinity College, Cambridge. He is the author of eighth poetry collections and has had poetry published in Theology, The Furrow, The Month, Spirituality, Hallel, Mount Carmel, The Merton Journal, The Merton Seasonal, The Tablet, Cistercian Studies Quarterly, Studies, Religious Life Review, Cambria, on BBC Radio and Television, and in anthologies including 'Poems from Pembrokeshire'( Seren 2019)
At this year's festival, Brother David will read from his most recent collection of poetry 'Deep unto Deep'.
