When I retired, I had the opportunity to devote more time to painting, an activity I have always found relaxing and enjoyable. At that time, I had joined Kilpeck art group, and more recently, Llandrindod Wells art club, of which I am still an associate member.
Having being born, and working in Birmingham, I knew my heart belonged in the expanses of the English, Welsh and French countryside. I initially moved to Herefordshire, then mid-Wales, before moving to Pembrokeshire 18 months ago. I find inspiration in nature, in structures like derelict buildings, and in the beautiful land-, and seascapes so commonly found around Pembrokeshire. I enjoy working in all mediums, but at the moment watercolour is probably my favourite.
Currently I am a member of the Hook and district art club.
