Writing for People with Different Abilities
Description
The world is a big place with lots of different people. We want to hear all voices and yet sometimes, there's something holding someone back. All sorts of disabilities hold people back so we've secured funding from the Authors' Licencing and Copyright Society to hold this workshop to nurture and support in a friendly way all those who want to tell stories and yet, for one reason or another, remain unheard.
It will be a structured lesson with local writer Lorna Lee from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm. There will be a break for lunch between 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm. There will be an open session from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm with plenty of time for one on ones with Lorna.
