Award-winning author and investigative journalist, Carole Cadwalladr joins Llangwmlitfest to discuss what happens when people want to hide the truth and to talk about her role in shining the light of truth on dark practices. Carole will also share her insights into how SLAPPs (strategic litigation against public participationare increasingly being used to silence journalists.
Cadwalladr exposed Cambridge Analytica’s role in mass-harvesting data to influence elections in the UK and US and has been a key voice of clarity on a plethora of issues in a misty world of disinformation.
