Bob Phillips

With a day job as an environmental regulator, a night time predilection for playing the guitar in dubious local bands and a house to finish "doing up" you would have thought that Bob Phillips would have had enough to be getting on with. Unfortunately, he is very easily distracted and has somehow ended up writing and producing a film drama about a little known aspect of the Great War.

A family remembrance of Uncle Charlie (who never came back from Mametz Wood on the Somme) combined with Bob's involvement with "World War One" The Llangwm village opera has led him to discover the story of the monumental task of recovering the fallen from the fields of battle.
